Mr. Bumbo.

BUMBO TIME!! Just recently Maxwell started sitting in his Bumbo chair. It's funny because part of the time he loves it, but as soon as he's done being in that seat, he means he is DONE. He arches his back and throws a wawa baby fit. :) Also, he has recently discovered his feet/toes. He always grabs them now and if he can't get them, he just stares at them.

Just for the record...

...Maxwell likes President Elect Barack Obama (even though Grandpa didn't like his shirt).

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

This is a bit late, I know...

For Halloween this year, Maxwell had a double costume! Since his skunky was only a shell and a hat, we found a black sleeper to put underneath it, which had a tail, ears, etc. Also, in celebration of All Hallows Eve, I insisted on carving a huge pumpkin, stripping Max down to the onsie, and putting him inside. It's something that I thought was great, but Jacob found to be a bit strange. :)

Rub-a-dub-dub!

This is Max's first tubby bath after his stinkin' belly button came out of hiding. Mimi came over to put him into his Pooh tub and he loved. He loves to splash around in the bath whenever I'll let him and he gets mad when it's time to get out. :)

Smiggles!

Smiles and giggles and smiggles! Maxwell smiled at 5 weeks and continues to do so every day. He also likes to make little baby noises all the time. He is the cuteness!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See...

Here are a few pictures of our baby bear. I swear, the bear suit is like Advil PM for this baby. As soon as we put him in it, he falls asleep and spits out that binky. Plus, he's just so darn cute in it..see for yourself....

Sweet Baby Boy

Here are some sweet pictures of my sweet boy. He is good most of the time. He doesn't like to sleep very much lately, but we still like him. He loves to play with his Daddy in the morning and at night. He started to smile at 5 weeks .

"His name is MAXWEAL!"

While his name may be Maxwell, his wall says "Buddy". :) Props to cousin Anna for standing up and protecting Baby Max. Here are a few pictures of Max's bedroom, which was decorated by my siblings with some help from Jacob and furnishings by Mimi and Papa and Nana and Grandpa.

Buddy

More pictures of Little Buddy Max!

MAX!

Finally!! Here he is, Maxwell Jacob d'Argy! Our little Buddy, Max was born on September 6th (he must have thought it would be nice to share a birthday with Aunt Malena) at 5:06 am. He was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 21 inches long. He is a tiny fella, but has huge hands and feet. He can already wear size 6-12 month socks. :) As soon as he was born, he started to suck his thumb/hand and look around completely wide-eyed. We hope that you like him...we sure do!

Month Seven.

So by now I am pretty huge. Our little Buddy is still nameless, but growing and getting more and more rowdy every day. I swear, he's trying to kick his way out of my belly. He should settle down though, because he has a solid two months left in there and possibly a bit longer...

A few weeks ago, Mr. Barry Garbarino (the Garbarino of Garbarino, Neely, Hindman & Huwar) informed me that it is too bad that Buddy and I have a contract evicting him on September 12th, since babies that are born on his birthday (September 23rd) receive trust funds. Next, I told Attorney Garbarino that there were several people around to witness his verbal contract and that I would be keeping the baby inside for an extra eleven days. :)

On another note, I have been avoiding swimming pools and any other situation that would involve a swimming suit for most of the summer until this week. I was talking with my beloved Dr. Rapaport, and he said, "Go swimming. You have a cute baby belly. Think of the people that you see at the beach and the pool that are bigger than you, but with no baby in there. Go to the pool. If people don't like it, they can stay inside." This prompted me to shamelessly parade the baby belly in my bikini. Sorry to any of the Hindmans that had to stay inside. haha

Ketchup and Catch Up.

Ok all. Here it is, the blog you've all been waiting for (and requesting)! Many things have happened since I set this blog up with my then-false name of d'Argy. For example, I became a d'Argy in real life (December 27th), Jake and I went to Jamaica for a fabulous week, and now we are expecting our first little buddy. It's a lot to take in with just one blog, I know. Hopefully in the future, our blogtastic blog will be a bit more comical and entertaining but for now, I'm afraid that's it!
